Beibi, once a rarely known town in Xiapu county, is gaining an increasing popularity among visitors in recent years. Two-hour drive from the county downtown area, the towns’ poor transportation used to be a major reason that made it seldom known by visitors when compared with other rural tourism towns in the county. But in recent years, with the opening of the roads directly linking the town with surrounding areas, Beibi is gradually emerging as a new attraction in the region. Embraced by waters on its three sides, Beibi, in addition to unspoiled sea views, also boasts a lot of giant rocks in the shapes of a monk, a monkey or a couple sitting together.
